PR3’s Reusable Packaging System Standards Panel (SP) is responsible for the development and maintenance of PR3’s reusable packaging standards. The SP reviews, revises, approves, and evolves PR3 standards following the requirements of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
The SP ensures balance, transparency, public engagement, and consensus throughout the process. The shift to reuse has the potential to impact communities, consumers, workers, businesses, governments, and other stakeholders. Representatives from all of these sectors are encouraged to participate in the standards development process.
PR3’s Reusable Packaging Systems Panel sets standards to ensure reuse systems are affordable, equitable, and safe.
We’ve closed the application for the Panel for this iteration. We will re-open the call for Panelists for the next round of revisions to the standard. If you have questions about the standards, feedback, or suggestions for future revisions, please contact the PR3 Team
The Reusable Packaging System Standards Panel and its workgroups are pre-competitive forums. PR3 standards are developed in accordance with applicable antitrust and competition laws and meetings amongst competitors to develop standards are to be conducted in accordance with these laws.
Participants shall not enter into any discussion, activity or conduct that may violate any applicable competition law.
