A unifying symbol
for reuse is finally here

Reusable packaging systems are arriving around the world, and now there’s a symbol to unify them. The new reuse symbol offers a universal icon for the reuse movement.  It is intended to clearly identify reusable packaging and the infrastructure that helps circulate it.  The symbol differentiates reusables from recyclable and other single-use waste, enabling consumers to keep reusable items out of recycling, landfill and other waste streams — all while inspiring the shift towards an un-throwaway world.

Currently launching on reuse systems across the globe…

…with more coming soon

The above pins represent the reuse systems that have already incorporated or are actively working to incorporate the reuse symbol. Collectively they’re bringing the reuse symbol to every continent across the globe, except for Antartica! More information coming soon.
